It has spark and I've got the lever for the gas pulled back and on the right hand side, there is a rod that comes through to where you sit on the carberator side of the engine. I do not know what that is for. Thanks for any help in advance.

By Cors Verhage on Tuesday, September 08, 2009 - 11:18 am:The small 1/8 inch rod on the right is the choke, pull about 3/4 the way out, once the engine fires, adjust the engine speed by playing with the choke setting. You may also need to open the stop cock on the bottom of the gas tank.
