I'm looking for a used dozer (around the 70's?). I'm inerested in catapillar, but was told that they are more difficult to work on and more time consuming. I heared you have to disasemble everthing to fix anything. I will be doing all the maintenance and repair myself. I have the experience, but not on catapilar. Are the cost of parts comparable to other domestic tractors? Does catapillar use special tools throughout the tractor. Any information from SOMEONE WHO KNOWS will be appritiated.
