By rob abeyta (69.136.69.210) on Thursday, September 29, 2005 - 8:32 pm:help, I have a 1989 CAT d8k, just purchased from a gentleman who rebuilt it, and let it sit for 18 months, without working it, other than starting it. Now the left steering clutch will not work at all. The right one grabs with no problem. My assumption is that the clutch is frozen and cannot engage, likely from rust. Does this happen with this model ???? what is the best way to free it ???? what is the best method to figure out where the problem is, for this paticular dozer ??? thanks in advance...rob
