Drott 40C parts needed

IBDozing Discussion Groups: Case (American Tractor, Case, Drott): Drott 40C parts needed

   By Jim P on Tuesday, July 31, 2007 - 6:53 am:

I have an old Drott 40C (apparently also known as the 40, 40A and 40EC) that I inherited with my house when I bought it. It has the "dragline style" undercarrage which supposedly makes parts harder to find. Several of the track rollers have frozen and are flattened out from being driven while stuck.
Does anyone know of anywhere to get replacement rollers (and other parts that I may need) for this machine. I've contacted a dozen salvage yards and nobody can help.
Thanks to all

I think I used rollers from a Cat D5 or D6, they are almost the same. If you can get one off, take it to a Cat dealer, most of them have salvage machines. Contact a Berco dealer, they are the aftermarket people. Try Equipment Parts, in Goldston, NC, ask for Adam
