I'm looking at an old td9 later this week and came across this awesome site...it appears you folks have quite a bit of knowledge when combined together!

Anyway, i'm going to try and find the serial # on it, as the current owner hasn't gotten it to me yet. the engine has recently been rebuilt (water got in it I guess).

has Drott 4 in 1 bucket, and I believe a 4cyl gas / diesel engine.

what are the pros and cons of this machine in general, and is there anything i should look for in particular (I have never owned a dozer, but have a dynahoe and various other implements of destruction. i'm bringing a friend who is a dozer owner to help me check out the undercarriage)?

I'll be clearing and building some roads with it primarily. I'd love a 6 way blade, but they're all to pricey around here for me right now.
