Any suggestions as to what I should offer for a HD-11 parts machine ?
It is in Alabama 450 miles from my farm in SC . I will have to hire out the tow.
They told me they would take scrap price.

thanks,

How much is scrap going for..? In PA it was about $4 per 100lbs... How heavy is the HD11.... I found data on internet that shows 22000 lbs... so, 22000/100 = 220 x 4 = $880... Whatever you don't use you can scrap after you are done with it and get your money back. Double check what they believe the scrap is worth and how much the dozer actually weighs.

Thanks Will,

Scrap is a little higher here. I had to give 1000 Now all I have to do is move it!

Joey,
I sell alot of carbon scrap through my job and prices run $3-4 per hundred if its clean as Will mentions. However, the rubber and oils in the machine will decrease the scrap value significantly over actual scrap price. However, if you're needing parts, one or two could more than pay for the tractor. Freight will probably go $5-600 or more.

I have a HD-11B and need end bits but don't have part numbers. Any chance you have this info or know a good dealer?

Thanks,

Wes
