I bought an AC 655 Loader. There is oil in antifreeze and antifreeze in oil. Does anyone have any ideas on what it could be? No white smoke, no pressure in radiator. Runs and operates great.
Thanks
Don't know what engine you have but check oil cooler. Oil goes in water when running because of oil pressure. Water in oil when stoped becaause of head pressure of water or pressure in raidator. Could be same eng as MH2 combine. Oil tubes in cooler have copper tubes over them to space flow vanes. copper tubes will rotate and wear through brass tubes. Take it to a Cummins Dlr and they should have test ends to pressure test oil cooler. Probably just one tube is leaking. If so just solder it shut and then solder the copper tubes to the vanes so they can't rotate. Should fix it and last a long time. Mine did. Good luck. Ps You can clean block and Radiator by pluming hot water and detergent from Pressure washer in block drain and let it flow out the radiator cap, Takes a while but will work.
Correction, I think that is brass tubes over copper. Either way solder the ends of the tubes that leak shut if not over 2 or three and it should work fine. I think the coolers are made in England and may be hard to find. Same as Cummins only shorter.
