It took me a while, but I found a parts manual for the Allis 11-b Seriel # 16000 and up. I'm not offering it for sale, but I'll help as a reference for anyone that needs something looked up. By having the part numbers, I saved almost $400 this weekend using the net.
Thanks,
Jim
Not sure if that series is unique, but you can still buy from any good Fiat Allis dealer a lot of the old manuals - unfortunately they split them into sections - hydraulics separate from transmission from tractor from steering clutches, etc. (assuming parts guy is willing to do a little research - 1st dealer never got back to me, but second dealer knew exactly where to go and got it quick at very reasonable price considering size)
could you give me a brief overview of how the steering clutch is located & operates? I have an 8b with a lazy side, and no manual
